A Moo-ment for Yoghurt
Noosa Fruit Smoothie Campaign
Campaign Strategy / Shopper Marketing / Retail Activation / Digital Banners / Experiential Design
Noosa Fruit Smoothie Campaign is a shopper marketing and retail activation project built to reposition Noosa’s drinkable yoghurt as a flavorful, on-the-go snack. The campaign, Noosa Time, used grocery aisle graphics, digital banners, sampling booths, and experiential touchpoints to create a clear moment of pause inside a busy consumer day.
Project overview
Repositioning yogurt beyond breakfast
Noosa Fruit Smoothies needed to stand out in a crowded snack and yoghurt category. The campaign opportunity was to shift drinkable yogurt from a breakfast-adjacent product into a flavorful pause for people moving through the day.
The solution, Noosa Time, turned a quick snack into a small moment of delight. The system extended across in-store graphics, digital banners, sampling, mobile activation, and experiential touchpoints.
A new moment for yogurt
Yoghurt had traditionally lived in the breakfast space, but consumer behavior was changing. People were eating more meals on the go, considering new snack formats, and treating beverages as viable snacks across age groups.
Yogurt was losing its hold as a breakfast-only product
Once a dominant competitor in the breakfast space, yoghurt sales have been consistently declining over the past years.
Consumers were eating breakfast on the go.
Consumer preferences have changed. They are eating breakfast on the go and are now looking to eat yoghurt at any time of the day.
Beverage-as-snack behavior was growing.
They’re also considering new forms of snacks.mBeverage as a snack has evolved to be a main consideration across all age groups.
Consumers snacked 2.7 times a day on average.
On average consumers snack 2.7 times a day and 47% of adults snack 3+ times a day!

The Challenge
Yoghurt was still carrying breakfast cues, while the consumer had moved into a more flexible eating pattern. The campaign needed to make Noosa Fruit Smoothies feel relevant to the rest of the day: quick, portable, flavorful, and worth choosing over ordinary snacks.

The opportunity
The campaign needed to make Noosa Fruit Smoothies feel less like a product extension and more like a daily ritual. The opportunity was to connect the product’s flavor and quality to the rhythm of busy consumers: the commute, the aisle, the afternoon break, and the moments between meals.

Two audiences, one craving
Built around two consumer mindsets. Hungry Adventurers already loved Noosa’s quality and flavor. Thirsty Adventurers needed a reason to see drinkable yoghurt as a snack that could keep up with their day.
The strategic shift was simple: move the product from “something good for breakfast” to “something quick, easy, and delicious whenever the day needs a pause.”

Truth Individuals Share
People are active and busy; they want products that provide convenience and ease. The deck also notes that 62% snack to satisfy a craving, making taste central to snacking behavior.
Truth of the Moment
Yoghurt is no longer only breakfast; nearly all Americans snack at least once a day, and half snack two to three times daily.
Truth of the Brand
Noosa’s quality story: high-quality ingredients, whole milk, velvety texture, and strong scores on flavor, real fruit taste, appearance, and texture.

The strategy: Savor Every Moment
Three connected truths: people were busier and snacking more often, drinkable yoghurt was growing as a format, and Noosa had a strong flavor and ingredient story to own.
That led to the platform: Savor Every Moment. The idea was not to sell yoghurt as utility. It was to make the snack feel like a pause worth choosing.

People
Busy consumers wanted snacks that supported their lifestyle without sacrificing quality.
Moment
Yoghurt was evolving beyond breakfast, and drinkable formats were becoming more relevant.
Brand
Noosa’s quality ingredients, whole milk, texture, and flavor gave the brand permission to own indulgent snacking.
Creative exploration
The visual direction needed to make time feel flavorful. Clocks, milk splashes, fruit graphics, bold teal fields, and Noosa’s yellow wordmark became the visual ingredients for the system.

Noosa Time
Noosa Time reframed the product as a pause in the day. The campaign used time as a simple behavioral cue: whenever the day moves fast, Noosa creates a moment worth savoring.
“This is not just a launch plan. It’s a craving plan.”

Digital support for awareness
Digital banners carried the same message into paid and owned channels. It carried the campaign’s core visual ingredients: product, splash, clock, fruit, brand color, and a direct CTA.
This gave the launch a simple bridge between retail visibility and digital awareness.

Built for the point of decision
Sampling and mobile activation helped turn the idea into a product experience. Floor graphics, aisle signage, and sample booths created a connected path from awareness to trial.
This allowed it to be readable in a crowded grocery environment, where shoppers make quick decisions and visual hierarchy matters. Product, message, color, and CTA had to work together at a glance.

Noosa Time on the go
Because the food truck extended the idea beyond the grocery aisle. In cities filled with on-the-go consumers, the truck created a mobile tasting moment: a place to sample, pause, receive a coupon, and share the experience through #NoosaTime.
This made the campaign more than a shelf presence. It gave Noosa a way to move through the same daily routines as the audience.
