Goal
To create a bold, character-driven story that reframes California’s wildfire crisis through irreverent humor and worldbuilding, sparking conversation about climate change while entertaining audiences.
Audience
Fans of adult animated comedies (Rick & Morty, South Park, Futurama), environmentally conscious viewers, and those drawn to satirical storytelling that blends real-world issues with surreal humor.
Contribution
I developed the full narrative concept, story bible, and world design for Fire Bros. This included outlining the setting, character arcs, and multi-season storylines, as well as visual direction for how the series could balance absurd comedy with social commentary.
Fire Bros is a speculative animated series concept that blends dark comedy with a dystopian lens on climate change. Set in the city of Arson — a wooden town surrounded by desert and plagued by constant wildfires — the show uses satire to explore resilience, friendship, and the absurdity of living in a world literally on fire.
The Story
At its heart, Fire Bros follows four friends who share one dream: becoming firefighters. The problem? They’ve already failed the academy exam 19 times, and their chances of making it are slipping away fast. On the verge of being expelled for good, the Bros decide to take destiny into their own hands, even if it means breaking a few rules (or a few fire codes).
But the flames around them aren’t just metaphorical. The city of Arson is literally burning, and something far stranger lies behind the endless wildfires. As the Bros stumble from one misadventure to the next, they’ll face shady forces, bizarre conspiracies, and the absurd chaos of a world always on the brink.
What lies ahead? Why is the city always on fire? And will the Fire Bros ever live up to their name?
Process
Worldbuilding:
Designed Arson as both a dystopian landscape and a satirical metaphor for climate collapse.
Character Development:
Created a core cast of flawed but endearing “bros” who embody competing responses to failure, ambition, and chaos.

Pitch Bible:
Compiled visuals, episode outlines, and brand identity for presentation to studios or collaborators.
Meet the Fire Bros
At the heart of Fire Bros are four unlikely heroes — each with their own quirks, flaws, and dreams. Bound together by friendship (and failure), they form a combustible mix of archetypes that drive the comedy and chaos of the series.
🔥 Helium
Helium is the self-appointed leader of the Fire Bros. The son of legendary firefighter “Great Blue,” he’s determined to live up to his father’s name and claim his own glory. Bossy, ambitious, and brimming with raw talent, Helium’s big ideas often crash and burn — but his heart keeps the team together, no matter how many times they fail.
🔥 Neon
Neon is Helium’s lifelong friend and fiercest rival. Brilliant and book-smart, Neon always has a clever plan ready — but his short fuse, big temper, and Napoleon Complex often get in the way. While he resents Helium’s self-declared leadership, his brains balance out Helium’s bravado, making their rivalry the comedic spark at the center of the group.
🔥 Krypton
Krypton is the group’s smooth-talking flirt. A sudden growth spurt turned him into the academy’s new heartthrob, and now he’s obsessed with selfies, fashion, and chasing attention. Backed by wealthy parents, Krypton dreams of fame and celebrity status. His vanity often distracts from the mission, but his charm occasionally gets the Bros out of tight spots.
🔥 Carbon
Carbon is the comic relief and spiritual center of the Fire Bros. A clumsy stoner type with a bottomless appetite, Carbon drifts through life with childlike curiosity and accidental wisdom. His laid-back humor and random philosophical musings often diffuse tension between Helium and Neon, keeping the group from burning out completely.
The Archetypes Together
The Fire Bros embody a classic misfit dynamic:
The Overzealous Leader (Helium) whose ambition outpaces his ability.
The Hot-Headed Genius (Neon) constantly battling for control.
The Vain Flirt (Krypton) chasing status and attention.
The Clumsy Comic (Carbon) grounding the chaos with humor and heart.
Together, they represent four noble gases — elements that don’t naturally bond, yet somehow stick together when the world is on fire.
Impact
Though speculative, Fire Bros demonstrates how comedy can bring accessibility to urgent global topics like climate change. The concept highlights my ability to merge storytelling, design, and cultural critique into an original IP, positioning entertainment as a tool for reflection and dialogue.
