Hart Plaza Historical Selfie Installation
Goal
The goal for this installation is to get people to place themselves inside of history and to gain a stronger connection with the past through a fun and engaging activity. Users are encouraged to step on the pedestal and post like the statue outline that is shown on the screen. Once a user has stepped on the platform of their choice they may then snap a picture of themself, and the photo is then uploaded to a website that showcases all of the work. Included was a paper handout which would offer more information about the histrorical figure they were posing as, and why they are to be remembered.
