St. Andrews Hall

I was specially selceted from the Raw Artists team to be a part of their Detroit showcase at St. Andrews Hall. One of the requirements of this showcase is that you are required to sell 20 tickets to the event. This is honestly pretty challenging and getting closer to the event I was worreid. My solution was to turn to Facebook and set up and event and a fundraiser for my artshow. I was so surprised to see my nework show up and donate to my ticket sales, and it was successful. My Goals for the remaining ticket sales was $400 and I was able to exceed that goal raising $420 a lucky number.
Samsara refers to the concept of rebirth and cyclicality of all life, matter, and existence it is the cycle of death and rebirth. This tells the deeply personal story of transformation. Originally envisioned in a dream, the artwork is about transitions illustrationed through a death and rebirth sequence. Starting with the inital inspiration to change, realizing the importance of letting go, and surrendering. And then the transition into a brand new life or expreince. The color scheme adds to the fantasy of the images, as you relate to this supernatural journey.
